FAQs

The test panel is an immunoassay (biochemical test) based on competitive binding. Drugs in the sample compete with drug conjugates for antibody binding sites. If no drug is present, a coloured line appears in the test region. A control line always appears to confirm the test has worked correctly.
The only difference is the sample type. Urine kits require a urine sample collected in a bathroom. Saliva kits use a mouth swab.
Results may be affected by incorrect storage, expired tests, leaving the test out of the sealed pouch too long, food or medications, adulterants in urine, incorrect saliva collection, or testing too soon after eating or drinking.
A negative result shows two lines (control + test line). A positive result shows only the control line. If no control line appears, the test is invalid.
Detection times vary depending on the drug, metabolism, and frequency of use. Cannabis may remain detectable for up to 40 days, while stimulants such as cocaine or amphetamines are typically 2–4 days.
Drug testing helps detect the presence of drugs or metabolites in the system, supporting safer decision-making and reducing risk of harm to yourself and others.
A positive result only indicates presence of a substance. It does not confirm abuse. Laboratory confirmation is recommended for accurate results.
No. A positive result only confirms presence of a drug or metabolite and does not indicate intoxication level or concentration.
Yes. Each drug has a defined cut-off level based on Australian and New Zealand standards. Results are determined based on whether a substance is above or below this threshold.
Each kit has a control line (C). If the control line appears, the test is working correctly. If it does not appear, the test is invalid.
This depends on metabolism, drug type, and usage frequency. Cannabis may remain for up to 40+ days, while most stimulants and opioids typically remain detectable for 1–7 days.
