Test yourself and not your life with the Drug Alert Simple Urine Self Testing Kit. This self-testing kit provides ease and convenience as you can self-test from home and get results in 5 minutes. The urine kit provides up to 99% accuracy.
The Drug Alert Marijuana Kit tests for:
Marijuana THC Parent - Tetrahydrocannabinol
The Drug Alert test panel provides only a qualitative, preliminary analytical result. A secondary analytical method must be used to obtain a confirmed result.
Kit includes 5 testing units.
What's Inside
The Drug Alert Simple Urine Marijuana Kit (5) contains 5x Test Panels and 1x Product Information.
Materials required but not provided: Specimen collection container, Timer.
The urine specimen must be collected in a clean and dry container. Urine collected at any time of day can be used.
How to Use:
Allow the test cassette, urine specimen, and/or controls to equilibrate to room temperature prior to testing.
Remove the test cassette on a clean and level surface.
Hold the dropper vertically and transfer 3 full drops of urine to the specimen well of the test cassette, and then start the timer.
Avoid trapping air bubbles in the specimen well. Place the cassette on a non-absorbent flat surface, start the timer and wait for the red line(s) to appear. The results should be read at 5 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes.
INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS
NEGATIVE: Two lines appear. One red line should be in the control region (C), and another apparent red or pink line should be in the test region (T). This negative result indicates that the Marijuana concentration is below the detectable level of 50 ng/mL.Note: The shade of red in the test (T) region may vary, but it should be considered negative whenever there is event a faint pink line.
POSITIVE: One red line appears in the control region (C).No line appears in the test (T) region. This positive result indicates that the Marijuana concentration is above the detectable level of 50ng/mL.
INVALID: Control line fails to appear. Insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for control line failure. Review the procedure and repeat the test with a new test cassette. If the problem persists, discontinue using the test kit immediately and contact supplier.
WARNINGS
Store between 2 - 30 degrees C.
Do not use beyond expiry date.
Cassette must remain in sealed pouch until use.
Adulterants such as bleach and/or alum in urine specimens may produce erroneous results.
A positive result indicates presence of the drug or its metabolites but does not indicate the level of intoxication, administration route or concentration in urine.
A negative result may not necessarily indicate drug-free urine.
Negative results can be obtained when a drug is present but below the cut-off level of the test.
The test does not distinguish between drug of abuse and certain medications.

FAQs
How accurate is the Drug Alert Marijuana THC Urine Rapid Screening Test?
The urine kit provides up to 99% accuracy. The test provides a preliminary analytical result for detecting marijuana use. For a confirmed result, a more specific method like gas chromatography/mass spectrophotometry (GC/MS) must be used.
What does a positive result indicate?
A positive result indicates the presence of marijuana or its metabolites in the urine at levels above 50 ng/mL. However, it does not indicate the level of intoxication, the administration route, or the exact concentration in the urine.
How should the test be stored?
The test kit can be stored at room temperature or refrigerated (2-30°C). It should remain in the sealed pouch until use and should not be frozen.
What should I do if the test result is invalid?
An invalid result indicates a failure in the testing process, often due to insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedures. Review the steps and repeat the test with a new test cassette. If the problem persists, contact the supplier.
What do I need to do before using the test?
Make sure the test cassette and urine sample are at room temperature (15-30°C). Collect the urine sample in a clean, dry container. If the urine has visible particles, let it settle or filter it before testing.
How do I perform the test?
Remove the test cassette from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible. Place the test cassette on a clean and level surface. Results remain stable for up to 4 hours after test initiation.
What should I do if I get a positive result?
A positive result indicates that THC is detected above the cut-off level. It's important to confirm this result with a more specific method like GC/MS to be certain.
In Australia, it is illegal to drive under the influence of marijuana (THC). If you test positive for THC, refrain from driving and operating machinery as it may result in legal consequences and penalties. Seek legal advice if you have questions about your rights and obligations under Australian law.
How do I interpret the test results?
Negative: Two lines appear (one in the control region (C) and one in the test region (T)). Any visible line in the test region, even if faint, means a negative result.
Positive: One line appears in the control region (C), and no line appears in the test region (T). This indicates that the THC level is above the detectable limit.
Invalid: No line appears in the control region (C). This means the test didn't work correctly, possibly due to insufficient urine or incorrect procedure.
